I design and construct bed and art quilts, Christmas tree skirts, table runners and small hand-stitched or felted purses...and found object art/mobiles. Making heirloom/comemmorative quilts and displays is a particular interest of mine, as is Sashiko. Images of my fiber arts projects will be available soon!

Color, line, texture, form - they are present in every art form!
I have learned as much from art classes about making music as I have constructing quilts or composing a picture. It is great fun to "make stuff up" and put it to use. My medium are fiber arts, found object art and photography.
Like recordings, people can enjoy quilts, purses, cards, scarves, mobiles, christmas tree skirts and the other objects I make on a daily performance. I find this a welcome change from the fleeting enjoyment of life performanceand it is a pleasure to make something personal, useful and memorable for others.
I am inspired by nature, the play of light and shadow, found objects, and Asian styles and forms.
I AM THANKFUL FOR THE DALLAS QUILT GUILD AND DALLAS FIBER ARTISTS AND ALL THE TEACHERS AND FRIENDS WHO SHARE THEIR WISDOM AND JOY WITH ME IN CREATING WITH THEIR HANDS AND HEARTS.
